Ex-nurse Turned OnlyFans Star Launches Crypto-Friendly Porn Site

She is developing a platform for erotic performers to accept cryptocurrency payments after making more than $1 million as a virtual sex worker on OnlyFans last year.

As a result of discovering that she had an OnlyFans account, Allie Rae resigned from her $84,000-a-year position as a nurse in a Boston intensive care unit.

After quitting her job, she worked solely on OnlyFans and earned almost $369,000.

Although it reversed its decision and said smutty content would still be permitted, Rae was still afraid her source of income could disappear overnight.

According to The Washington Post, it was frightening to be making that much money and then be told it would stop in 30 days.

The Post reported that Allison Rae invested $1 million of her own money in WetSpace.

As a result of intense backlash, OnlyFans reversed its decision to ban porn after claiming large payment processors pressured it to do so.
Rae, however, didn’t take any chances.

She said next month she plans to launch WetSpace, an adult entertainment space similar to OnlyFans, which will accept payments in crypto – making it easier for performers and customers to remain anonymous.

Erotic content consumers can pay for their favorite online performers using stable digital coins, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, Dai, BNB, and AVAX.

“I was inspired to create WetSpace by my own experience as a content creator,” she told The Post.

Allie Rae explained that WetSpace offers users and content creators the advantage of making payments in stable digital coins, thus preserving their anonymity.

“I wanted to create a payment platform that would allow sex workers to grow their business without worrying about big payment processors.”

She intended to launch a beta version of the site this month but realized that the technology wasn’t up to par.
Rae said, “I’m a perfectionist and I don’t release crap.”
“This platform will be unlike any other out there,” she told The Post.

Married with three children, she invested $1 million of her own money in the venture.

Her company also recruited two other investors from Fortune 500 companies to get the project off the ground – but they have insisted on remaining anonymous.

“This platform will be unlike any other platform,” she said.
Models and their followers will be able to hide their tracks with WetSpace’s crypto-friendly payment processing.

The thing about WetSpace is that there are a lot of guys who want to purchase content but can’t because they have to use their credit cards, so we want to create a medium that will enable them to do so without giving away their personal information,” Rae said.
