Within Three Months Of Joining OnlyFans, a Lawyer Earned A Six-Figure Salary At MoneyLaw

This year, a former US lawyer turned content creator on OnlyFans made $180,000 (£147,000).

A 27-year-old lawyer, Jazmen Jafar, now charges fans around £5 a month to view her photos, videos and daily live streams.

To appease her Middle Eastern parents, Jafar – a stage name inspired by Princess Jasmine and Jafar from the Disney film Aladdin – passed the bar exam and pursued a career in law.

The following year, she landed her first law firm job after joining OnlyFans. After juggling both roles, she quit the legal profession in March 2022 to concentrate on her online content full-time.

So far this year, Jafar has earned an eye-watering £147,000 due to her decision. This is the salary of a newly qualified solicitor at Ropes & Gray, according to the Legal Cheek Firms Most List 2023.

According to the news site, it has reviewed documents verifying her previous employment and earnings.

“A lot of people don’t realize how miserable lawyers are, and I’m often referred to as crazy for leaving a legal career to work as a sex worker, but it’s only people with a glamorized view of the legal profession who don’t understand my decision,” Jafar said.

As a content creator, Jafar works even longer hours than she did as a lawyer. She used to work up to ten hours a day as a lawyer.

Despite her commitment to the law, Jafar has yet to abandon it completely. Her YouTube channel advocates for sex workers’ rights, and she “unofficially” helps other OnlyFans creators review their contracts.

“I want to break down some of the stigma and stereotypes surrounding sex work and show people it’s not a last resort,” she said. Since I could have kept my well-paying job, it was my last resort. I chose this because I wanted freedom and happiness.”
