A creator of OnlyFans has talked about how horrified she was when she found out that a family member was paying to see her explicit material online.

For the most part, Sharna Beckman’s 27-year-old fan base comprises people she has never met in real life but is happy to get to know her online.

Many people who make content can separate their work from their personal life, family, and close relationships because they don’t know their followers.

This is probably why Beckman was so shocked when she saw the name of one of her clients. The star of OnlyFans said that her cousin, with whom she had been close as a child and still hangs out at family events, had been a fan of her page for more than two months.

Beckman told Yahoo! Lifestyle that when she confronted her cousin, all she got in return was what she saw as an excuse.

“He tried to tell me it wasn’t him, but his friend, who was married and couldn’t use his name or credit card,” she said. “My cousin kindly offered to share his name and credit card to allow this other guy to join my page.”

Beckman told her cousin that she didn’t believe his story and asked him why he would join OnlyFans and buy more sexual content from her page. She said that he made her “sick to her stomach.” Beckman said she didn’t tell her family because she didn’t want to “cause any awkwardness,” even though she was mad.

“So, I removed my cousin from my OnlyFans account and blocked his phone messages,” she shared. “I need help understanding why he would sign up and use his real name. Did he want me to know it was him? Then what?”

She said she’s been making up reasons not to attend family events since she learned about her cousin’s subscription.

“I didn’t tell my family as I didn’t want to cause drama between everyone; I felt super awkward about it already,” she said. “I think it will cause some drama, and he will probably deny it and make me look like a liar.”

It’s been a surprise how many fans she has, but Beckman has found success on OnlyFans and now makes six figures a month there.
